Why Drew Galloway’s TNA World Title Win Almost Didn’t Happen

Last night on Impact Drew Galloway became the TNA World Heavyweight Champion for the first time. He defeated Matt Hardy after cashing in his Feast or Fired briefcase and the rest is history. But the history making moment almost didn’t happen for Drew Galloway.

Before arriving at the Impact Zone, Drew Galloway had to take a flight from Germany to Orlando and he apparently had one of the worst travel days ever. PWInsider noted that there was some concern about whether or not he was going to make it to the tapings in time, but obviously it worked out.

Following the big TNA World Title win many of Galloway’s friends and peers took to social media to congratulate him. You can check out some of the reactions below.

TNA is set to hold another set of Impact tapings tonight in Orlando.
