Drew Galloway had an amazing run with Impact Wrestling over the last two years, but all good things must come to an end. Rumors have been circulating for quite some time now that The Chosen One would soon cut ties with Impact Wrestling, but there were some fans holding out hope they would work something out in the midnight hour.
Unfortunately, that isn’t the case as Drew tweeted that he is done with the company. There has been a lot of speculation as to what will happen with a few top names in TNA that haven’t signed new deals, Drew Galloway was one of them and the Broken Hardys were the other.
Now fans know what the deal with Galloway is.
Drew actually cancelled some television taping appearances with Impact Wrestling recently because he had indie dates booked, so he worked for WCPW instead because they pay more.
Drew is now free of his obligations with Impact Wrestling and is free to work as he pleases now. It would be awesome to see him return to WWE, but his last run saw him as a member of a jobber trio, and he’s probably not willing to take the risk to wind up in the same situation. Jinder Mahal did come back into the WWE fold since the 3 Man Band’s demise, but it’s not been much better for him since his return. Therefore, Galloway might opt to simply work for that sweet, sweet top independent star money.
We here at Still Real To Us wish Drew Galloway the best in his future endeavors and can’t wait to see where he pops up next. One thing is for sure wherever he appears, he’s going to make a massive impact (poor choice of words).
