Donald Trump Uses WWE Video Clip To Take A Shot At CNN, Cody Rhodes Talks Bullet Club

Donald Trump isn’t just the President of the United States of America, he’s also a WWE Hall of Famer, and he’s thrown fists on the Grandest Stage of Them All. Trump has made several appearances for WWE over the years, but perhaps his most memorable appearance took place at WrestleMania 23.

Donald Trump was in Bobby Lashley’s corner for the Battle of the Billionaires which saw Lashley face off against Umaga who had Vince McMahon in his corner. Vince and Donald both put their hair on the line during the Battle of the Billionaires, and things got physical between the two of them on the outside of the ring.

Donald Trump delivered a beatdown to Vince McMahon, and he recently posted an edited version of the clip on Twitter which features the CNN logo superimposed over Vince McMahon’s face.

Saturday night ROH World Champion Cody Rhodes challenged Kazuchika Okada during night 1 of the NJPW G1 Special, but Cody failed to win the IWGP Heavyweight Championship.

Prior to the event, Cody did an interview with ESPN where he talked about his match with Okada and his thoughts on joining The Bullet Club. During the interview Cody admitted that at first he wasn’t sure about joining the group.

“I think initially, I was worried,” said Rhodes. “I was like, ‘Oh, the Bullet Club.’ You’ve had Finn Balor, and you’ve had AJ Styles, and you have Kenny Omega. I was kind of worried. I wanted to trend upwards. All good things must come to an end, and I didn’t know what the shelf life for the Bullet Club was.  It’s trending upward still. We just had a conference call with a certain toy manufacturer, that does toys for the biggest company in the world, who wants to do Bullet Club stuff. Not ROH. Not New Japan Pro Wrestling. Bullet Club. Just Bullet Club. It blows my mind.”
