It’s been a rough week for the WWE roster as quite a few wrestlers were released. Mustafa Ali happened to be one of the names who got cut which creates a big issue because he was supposed to challenge Dominik Mysterio for the NXT North American Championship at NXT No Mercy next weekend.
As of this writing Dominik Mysterio does not have an opponent for NXT No Mercy next week and he shared his thoughts on the situation during an appearance on the In The Kliq podcast.
“Yeah, you know, it’s a very unfortunate situation that very talented people have to go through situations like this. At the end of the day, it’s out of our control. We just do whatever we can to put our best foot forward. But as far as No Mercy goes, I’m just gonna have to wait and see who my opponent will be.”
