It appears that we saw the beginnings of a Dolph Ziggler heel turn this week on WWE SmackDown Live. Ziggler faced off against Baron Corbin in a one on one match, and unfortunately for Dolph he wasn’t able to pick up the victory.
After Baron Corbin put Dolph Ziggler away, he went outside the ring and grabbed a chair then he prepared to attack Dolph Ziggler. Luckily for Ziggler, Kalisto had his back, and he made his way down to the ring to make the save.
Apparently Dolph didn’t appreciate Kalisto’s assistance, as he hit Kalisto with the superkick, and then screamed repeatedly that he didn’t need him, or anyone.
Backstage after the match Dolph Ziggler made his way back to the locker room where Apollo Crews, Mojo Rawley and Rhyno were hanging out. Ziggler started throwing things around the locker room, and Apollo Crews confronted him about why he superkicked Kalisto.
Ziggler told Crews it was none of his business, Crews told him that Kalisto is his boy, so he was making it his business, and Dolph Ziggler responded by hitting him with a headbutt. The two brawled for a few seconds before they were pulled apart.
