AJ Styles appeared on Talking Smack Tuesday night to discuss his upcoming #1 contender match against Luke Harper on next week’s Smackdown Live and the conversation took a very strange turn.
To be such a well-seasoned world traveler, Styles seems to have some pretty archaic ideas about the world… literally. Daniel Bryan derailed the conversation when he turned to AJ Styles and said, “Hey AJ, you want to talk about how you think the Earth is flat? He literally thinks that the Earth is flat!”
Although AJ Styles said that he doesn’t fully believe that the Earth is flat, he did say that there is some pretty interesting evidence to support the case and how some valid arguments do exist to prove the point.
“I don’t think the world is flat, I’m just saying there’s some stuff about it,” Styles explained.
Bryan jokingly called “The Face That Runs The Place” a “flat-earther” and AJ Styles denied that he actually believed it. Although, he did admit that some of it makes sense.
Flat-earthers like Tila Tequila, Kyrie Irving, and B.O.B believe that studies like the Bedford Level experiment prove that the Earth is flat. However, the Bedford Level experiment was extremely flawed and has been overcome with countless scientific proof including astronauts taking pictures of a round planet Earth from outer-space.
All we can do is roll our eyes at this one but at least he’s still one of the best professional wrestlers on the planet, whether he believes it is a flat one or not.
