Randy Orton heads to his hometown of St. Louis, Missouri on Sunday night in the hopes that he will take back his WWE Championship from Jinder Mahal at the Money in the Bank event.
After weeks of Jinder getting the upperhand over Orton en route to his victory at Backlash, Orton finally got the advantage heading into the event when he hit an incredible RKO on the Modern Day Maharaja on Tuesday night.
Jinder mentioned in his promo before this that “Cowboy” Bob Orton will be at ringside for his son’s match on Sunday night and this could be WWE’s plan to help Orton to even the odds when it comes to The Singh Brothers.
The odds were stacked against Orton at Backlash when Jinder managed to shock the world and lift the WWE Championship and it seems as though this is the perfect time for Bob Orton to jump the barricade and lay waste to the men who cost his son his WWE Championship last month.
Bob is reported to be in good health, despite sad rumors of his passing on social media earlier this week. This wouldn’t be the first time Orton had jumped the barricade to save his son and it would definitely add a new dimension to a feud that is expected to pick up pace over the next few weeks.
