Dixie Carter says new TNA stars will be debuting at Thursday’s Genesis Impact Wrestling tapings in Huntsville, Alabama. Speculation is that it may be Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards as WWE didn’t offer them a contract after their recent tryouts and they’ve been known to be in talks with TNA.
Kurt Angle is scheduled to have knee surgery on February 11th, a simple arthroscopic surgery to have his knee cleaned up, according to Wrestling News World. Recovery for the procedure is usually 6 to 8 weeks, so it looks likely that Kurt Angle won’t be competing at Lockdown which takes place March 9th. Although he is having surgery whether he will be competing or not is purely speculation based on the recovery time as any Kurt Angle fan knows, you can never count him out.
