Dixie Carter Holds Meeting Before Impact Tapings, Talks WWE Rumors

PWInsider is reporting that Dixie Carter held a meeting prior to the Impact tapings on Monday where she talked about a number of issues and allowed TNA talent to ask questions.

One of the issues that was discussed was late pay, and Carter reportedly told talents that sometimes payments are made late because the company is waiting on money that is owed to come in.

The WWE sale rumors were also brought up, and Dixie acknowledged that WWE is interested in purchasing the company, but said that she would not let that happen. She also confirmed that the company still owns their own tape library.

Carter made it clear that she’s still the majority owner, but admitted that there’s been some in-fighting amongst the owners of the company. She also acknowledged that they “scrambled” leading up to Bound For Glory, but told talents that the show was never not going to happen.

Dixie reportedly acted surprised that everyone was so worried about the status of TNA and she apologized to the locker room for the concern and worry among the talent. The feeling is that the meeting helped to alleviate some concerns, and there was respect for Dixie Carter for addressing the locker room, but there’s still some worry about what will happen with the company after they’re done filming for the rest of the year.
