Sean Combs, is a man who is known by many names. You can call him Puff Daddy, P. Diddy or simply Diddy, and he recently announced that he would be going by a new moniker. Diddy posted a video saying that he wanted people to call him Love, aka Brother Love, and that he would not answer to any of his old monikers. Diddy’s new name caused quite the stir online, as Bruce Prichard didn’t seem to be very happy that Diddy was adopting his old gimmick.
Well apparently, Combs has had a change of heart, as he recently announced that he was only joking about changing his name.
“Well ladies and gentlemen, today I’ve come to the conclusion that you can not play around with the internet. Due to an overwhelming response from the media out there, and just due to there not wanting there to be any confusion, I was only joking. Okay? I didn’t change my name, it was just part of one of my alter-egos. One of my alter-egos is love. But to set the record straight because I have a lot of press to do over the next few weeks, you can address me by any of my older names, but if you still want to call me Love you can call me Love baby. But I was only playing.”
Bruce Prichard responded by thanking everyone for helping Diddy see the light, and he said he still loves him.
