This week’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw is the big season premiere for the red brand and Kevin Patrick is calling the action with Corey Graves. Michael Cole is not sitting at the commentary table this week although it seems that his absence was planned well ahead of time.
PWInsider is reporting that Michael Cole requested this week off some time ago due to a personal commitment. It just so happened that the week Cole requested off was later scheduled to be the season premiere of Monday Night Raw.
It’s being said that Michael Cole is not dealing with any type of illness or injury. Kevin Patrick had been scheduled to take on lead commentary duties for the show for many weeks, and Michael Cole is currently scheduled return next week.
Michael Cole stated earlier this month during a segment on Raw that he had only missed two WWE shows in 26 years. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
