WrestleMania is quickly approaching, and the annual WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony is set to air next week. WWE has added some interesting names to the 2021 Hall of Fame class, and Titus O’Neil is set to receive the Warrior Award.
Fightful Select reports that the reason why Titus O’Neil is getting the Warrior Award, as opposed to Shad Gaspard who died saving his son last year, is because plans for Titus to receive the award were in place long before Shad passed away.
It’s being said that Titus getting the award is not a slight on Gaspard, but has more to do with the work Titus O’Neil has done in the Tampa area over the last few years.
Plans for Titus to receive the Warrior Award were originally pushed back due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
