Edge made a huge return earlier this year when he entered the 30 man Royal Rumble match, and the Hall of Famer went on to win it all. The Rated R Superstar earned a title shot at WrestleMania 37, and he chose Roman Reigns for his opponent on the Grandest Stage of Them All.
Daniel Bryan ended up getting added to the Universal Title match to make it a triple threat, and Roman Reigns pinned both Bryan and Edge to win the match in a decisive fashion.
Edge hasn’t appeared on WWE programming since competing in the main event of WrestleMania 37 last month, and Fightful Select is reporting that he is currently taking some scheduled time off.
The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion is working on a part time deal, and there’s currently no word on when he might be returning to WWE programming.
