This week’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw was the first episode with Paul Heyman working as the Executive Director of the red brand, and there was a lot of curiosity leading up to the show.
The episode featured a few segments that really got people talking, and Heyman’s influence on the show was noticeable.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Vince McMahon and Ed Koskey were the ones running the production meeting, but the Braun Strowman/Bobby Lashley segment, and the Mike & Maria Kanellis segment were Paul Heyman’s ideas.
Bringing The Street Profits up to the main roster was also reportedly a Heyman move.
Viewership was up for this week’s episode, so it will be interesting to see if WWE can keep the momentum going for Monday Night Raw.
