Details On When AEW’s Second TV Show Is Set To Launch

Last year AEW Dynamite officially premiered on TNT, and since then the show has been going head to head with NXT on Wednesday nights.

Earlier this year it was announced that AEW signed a new deal with WarnerMedia, extending Dynamite’s run on TNT through 2023. It was also announced AEW would be adding a second TV show.

Dave Meltzer recently noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that the show is still in the plans moving forward, and it’s expected to debut before the end of the year.

News on the show has been quiet in recent months due to the coronavirus pandemic.

It’s also being reported that when the show was first announced that idea was for it to be shot on Wednesday nights, and air on another night, likely on TNT. However, the show could end up on one of Turner’s other networks, or possibly WarnerMedia’s HBO Max streaming service.
