WWE is up for sale as Vince McMahon has returned to the Board of Directors and he’s looking to sell the company. Some big names have been making the rounds when it comes to sale talks and both Disney and Comcast are among the parties rumored as potential buyers.
Fightful Select reports that they reached out to contacts in Disney and Comcast who spoke about a potential WWE sale on the condition of anonymity. It’s being said that contacts in both companies had heard the rumors and said that it would be hard to believe that any major company would want to retain the services of Vince McMahon if they could help it.
Vince McMahon returned to the WWE Board of Directors this month and it’s rumored that since Vince returned he has already sent word to some of the departments in WWE to let them know they’re doing things wrong.
It’s also being reported that talent is still very worried about the possibility of Vince McMahon returning to WWE creative. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
