It’s that time of year when WWE decides to shake up the roster by holding a draft, and soon fans will see stars switching brands, as the next draft is set to kick off on on SmackDown and then continue on Raw next week.
Last week on Friday Night SmackDown, AJ Styles lost a match to Jey Uso, and John Morrison lost a match to Mr. Money in the Bank Otis.
Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that the losses could be an indication that both AJ Styles and John Morrison are headed to Monday Night Raw in the draft.
When 2020 started AJ Styles was part of the Raw roster, but he was traded to SmackDown back in May. It was rumored that Styles had issues with Paul Heyman due to the release of Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, and Styles later confirmed the issues.
It will be interesting to see if AJ Styles really does switch brands in the draft, as Paul Heyman was recently brought back to TV on SmackDown as an advisor for Roman Reigns.
