Cody Rhodes was one of the key figures that helped to launch All Elite Wrestling in 2019 which is why many people were surprised when the former TNT Champion announced last year that he was leaving the company. Cody has since returned to WWE where he is featured as one of the top stars on WWE programming.
Arn Anderson was paired with Cody Rhodes on screen as his coach and he recently indicated during his ARN podcast that there’s no ill will between The American Nightmare and Tony Khan.
“Best luck to Cody. I think Tony Khan has no ill will towards Cody or vice versa. It’s just one of those things that happens.”
Anderson also said that he feels wrestlers have to do what’s best for them and their families and that he understands why Cody Rhodes decided to make the change.
Currently Cody Rhodes is set to challenge Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania 39 in April. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
