Last month WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event returned and the show featured the WWE Women’s United States Championship tournament finals. Chelsea Green ended up facing off against Michin in the finals, and it was Chelsea who picked up the win to become the first ever WWE Women’s United States Champion.
During a recent episode of WrestleVotes Radio on Backstage Pass it was reported that WWE is considering a Chelsea Green vs. Michin rematch for the Women’s United States Championship at the next Saturday Night’s Main Event.
According to the report it’s possible that WWE could end up adding a stipulation to the match as a way to cap off the long standing rivalry between Chelsea Green and Michin.
The next Saturday Night’s Main Event is set to air live from the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Texas on January 25. So far WWE has yet to officially announce anything for the card.
