Back in August WWE introduced the world to the state of the art ThunderDome, and the structure allows virtual fans to appear inside the arena via LED screens.
ThunderDome has definitely added some much needed sizzle to WWE programming over the last few months, and the company has also tried to make things as normal as possible by adding fake crowd noises to TV broadcasts.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter notes that the fake crowd noise being fed into the shows has given WWE management exactly what they’ve always wanted, complete control of the crowd noise.
It was also noted that the fake crowd noise allows management to make it look like everyone they want to get over is over, and everyone they don’t want to get over isn’t getting over.
As previously reported WWE will be moving ThunderDome to Tropicana Field in the coming weeks and the new ThunderDome is set to debut on the December 11 episode of SmackDown.
