It appears that there are some wrestlers on the main roster that Vince McMahon is unhappy with, as it was recently reported that he “threw a fit” over their in-ring ability.
McMahon reportedly send Otis, Keith Lee and a few others to the Performance Center for classes with Drew Gulak and Adam Pearce, and the hope is that they can refine their skills.
Fightful Select reports that wrestlers were told to keep quiet in regards to McMahon sending them to the Performance Center, but obviously word got out. It was confirmed that Lee, Otis, Omos, Dabba Kato, and Dio Maddin were among the wrestlers sent for extra training.
It’s also being reported that some people at the Performance Center are baffled that Keith Lee being part of the group, as he’s considered to be one of the better workers in the company, but his size may be the reason he’s being grouped in with the others.
There are said to have been a few things over the last few weeks that Otis has done that caught the attention of WWE officials backstage, and some feel he could work safer in the ring.
Omos is said to not be a surprise, as WWE planned to have him on Raw during the build to WrestleMania, even though he hasn’t been trained in regards to in-ring ability.
Dio Maddin is part of the group because he hasn’t been wrestling much since he stopped doing commentary on Raw.
