Details On Ric Flair Complaining To Vince McMahon Before His WWE Release

WWE has released some big names over the last few days, and it was recently reported that two time Hall of Famer Ric Flair has parted ways with the company. It was rumored that Ric Flair had expressed frustration over some of WWE’s booking decisions, and that he requested to be released.

Dave Meltzer addressed the situation on Wrestling Observer Radio and he noted that Ric Flair sent a message to Vince McMahon, and that The Nature Boy was complaining about Charlotte’s booking.

Flair is now gone following his complaints about Charlotte’s booking, and Meltzer also noted that while some people have said it was Ric’s decision to leave other people close to the situation are claiming that it was Vince McMahon’s decision.

It’s not clear which booking decisions Flair had an issue with but it was originally reported that they were “fairly recent.” The Nature Boy has publicly stated in the past that he was not comfortable doing the relationship storyline with Lacey Evans earlier this year.
