Over the last few years WWE has achieved major success with international premium live events, and earlier today the company announced that the first ever Bash in Berlin PLE will take place from Germany in August of 2024. Now it seems that WWE could potentially be taking Backlash overseas as well.
Fightful Select is reporting that some internal schedules have the Backlash premium live event listed for Paris, France in the spring of 2024. However, there is no confirmation on that location being finalized although it has been discussed heavily. It was also noted that names of shows can always change as well until they’re finalized.
WWE also recently confirmed that the 2024 Elimination Chamber premium live event will take place from Australia and the company is not expected to slow down when it comes to scheduling more premium live events in locations overseas.
