The Royal Rumble is quickly approaching and anticipation for the event is at an all time high as Bray Wyatt will be wrestling on TV for the first time since he returned to WWE back in October. The former Universal Champion will be facing off against LA Knight in the first ever Pitch Black match, but so far WWE has not announced any official rules for the match.
LA Knight addressed the Pitch Black match on the After The Bell podcast, and he noted that the indication he’s been given is that the match will be a street fight that takes place in the dark.
“Pitch Black Match, it’s something new in the making. There was something to the point of, ‘I don’t know what the hell this is, what the hell this is going to be.’ Every indication I’ve been given is that this is going to be a kick ass street fight and be kind of in the dark. I don’t know what the lighting is going to be, how it’s going to work, what other kind of factors or elements are going to come into play. All I know is it’s going to be a fight at the Royal Rumble.”
One way or another it will be interesting to see how this all plays out. The Royal Rumble will air live on Saturday, January 28. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
