Details On Plans For Shane McMahon’s Feud With Braun Strowman

Shane McMahon hasn’t been as prominent of a figure on WWE programming in recent years, but over the last few weeks he’s been working a storyline with former Universal Champion Braun Strowman.

Strowman and McMahon had an awkward exchange on Monday Night Raw this week, and Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE officials are trying to turn heel, so the idea is for him to be “this dick making fun of the dumb guy.”

With Shane McMahon taking the heel approach in his feud with Braun Strowman it seems that Strowman is now once again becoming a babyface.

According to Meltzer WWE officials feel that people would naturally cheer for Shane McMahon over Braun Strowman, which is why they’re going the hell route.

Fightful Select is also reporting that the idea behind the awkward segment on Raw, which made some people wonder if Shane had forgot his lines, was to make Shane come off as less likable.
