We’re only a few days away from WrestleMania 37 and it’s shaping up to be a loaded weekend for wrestling fans. WrestleMania 37 will be a two night event this year, and it was recently announced that WWE will be holding a tag team turmoil match during night 1 with the winners getting a shot at the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles during night 2.
According to WrestleVotes one of the original ideas prior to the announcement of the tag team turmoil match was to hold the WrestleMania Women’s Battle Royal with the final two competitors forming a tag team.
Original idea prior to the Women’s Tag Team Turmoil match being decided on was to have the annual Women’s Battle Royal where the final 2 would be “winners” & form a tag team the next night. Much like the WM 15 Battle Royal that Test & D’Lo won, then lost later to Owen & Jarrett.
