Kevin Owens first signed with WWE back in 2014, and since then he’s gone on to become one of the most consistently featured performers on WWE programming.
The former Universal Champion has achieved major success during his time with WWE, but it’s no big secret that his contract with the company is currently set to expire in early 2025. With KO’s deal set to expire in a few months fans have been wondering what the future holds for Owens.
While talking about Kevin Owens’ status on Backstage Pass Q&A, WrestleVotes reported that the belief is Kevin Owens is closing in on a new deal with WWE, but there’s no confirmation that the deal has been signed.
“I did reach out, talked to a couple of people. Didn’t get a definite one way or the other, didn’t get an absolutely the deal’s been signed, but did get a really positive response that it’s very close if not completed with a handshake. So I’d imagine that he’s around for the long term.”
Kevin Owens has been a very hot topic recently as he attacked Cody Rhodes after the Bad Blood premium live event and he also attacked Randy Orton on SmackDown last week. Owens recently issued a warning ahead of SmackDown this week and you can get more on that here.
