In recent months there have been several stars who appear to be moving up the ladder in WWE and Jey Uso seems to be one of them. Jey made the jump to Raw following SummerSlam which led to him forming an alliance with Cody Rhodes. On Saturday night Jey & Cody both managed to capture championship gold when they defeated The Judgment Day to become the new Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions.
Fightful Select reports that recent WWE live event merchandise reports show that Cody Rhodes outsold generic WWE merchandise, which is said to be rare for an individual superstar to do, and that Jey Uso’s merchandise has also been selling well.
Towards the end of September, Jey Uso’s merchandise sold exceptionally well at live events. It’s also being reported that merchandise sales are living up to the high hopes WWE had for Jey Uso when they put him in a prominent position outside of The Bloodline storyline.
