Details On How WWE Feels About AJ Lee Possibly Returning

It’s been years since AJ Lee wrestled her last match, but as we’ve seen over the years you can never say never when it comes to potential in-ring returns. Last year CM Punk made his return to WWE and ever since then fans have been wondering if AJ Lee could potentially return to the company at some point.

Recently on Backstage Pass Live Q&A a fan asked if AJ Lee is expected to return. WrestleVotes noted that AJ Lee and CM Punk are likely the only ones who would know if she’s interested, but that WWE would welcome her back.

“The answer to that is as far as I know, WWE is totally on board for it, they would welcome it. She picks up the phone, she says ‘I’m in,’ they’re going to say ‘yes, what took you so long?’

I would say the only two people that probably know that answer are AJ Lee and CM Punk, and whatever that answer may be, it’s up to them so we’ll see.”
