Business has certainly picked up on the road to WrestleMania and this week on Monday Night Raw, The Rock took his feud with Cody Rhodes to the next level. Rock attacked Cody at the end of the show then proceeded to beat The American Nightmare down for several minutes. Monday Night Raw went off the air with Cody Rhodes covered in blood which caught the attention of many.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that the key to WWE using blood again is that it’s no longer Vince McMahon’s company. However, it’s being said that WWE will very rarely be using blood on TV as there are no plans to emulate AEW where blood is used more liberally.
If The Rock wants to use blood in one of his angles he’s going to be able to do what he wants. It was noted that The Rock currently has more power than even Brock Lesnar had while Vince McMahon’s regime was in charge.
The Rock will be in action at WrestleMania next weekend when he teams up with Roman Reigns to face Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins during night one of the big event.
