Details On How Much Talents Are Being Paid For WWE 2K Battlegrounds

Usually around this time of year fans can expect to see a new annual entry in the WWE 2K series, but it was confirmed months about that WWE 2K21 would not be released this year.

Instead 2K went in a different direction and released WWE Battlegrounds, which is a game that is much more similar in style to WWE All Stars.

The game features a large roster, and one talent reportedly told Fightful that they received a $35,000 bonus for being a part of the game.

Other stars who are available as downloadable characters noted that they were confused because they were informed they would not be getting the bonus because they do not have main roster contracts.

The next official WWE simulation game, presumably titled WWE 2K22 is expected to be released next year.
