On Sunday night Edge shocked the world when he returned to the ring and entered the men’s Royal Rumble match.
The next night the Rated R Superstar appeared on Raw during the main event segment, seemingly to set up a WrestleMania match against Randy Orton.
Alex McCarthy of talkSPORT reports that it’s believed Edge’s new deal is for $3 million dollars a year as long as he wrestles at least three matches a year.
Edge and Beth Phoenix were said to be “smiling ear-to-ear” and it’s believed that he may have used his talks with AEW as leverage to get a better WWE deal, and that he never wanted to sign with All Elite Wrestling.
It’s also being reported that Edge has committed to five matches at this point, one of which was the Royal Rumble, and the other four matches are expected to take place throughout the year. It’s also expected that he will make 25 appearances per year.
