You never know when a familiar face might show up to a WWE event as Bill Goldberg got the wrestling world talking earlier this month when he made an appearance at the Bad Blood premium live event in Atlanta, GA.
During the show Gunther talked trash to Goldberg which led to Goldberg jumping over the barricade. They were separated by security, but there’s been a lot of speculation regarding a potential Goldberg vs. Gunther match taking place at some point in the future.
PWInsider is reporting that Goldberg is not currently slated to be in Saudi Arabia for Crown Jewel this weekend. It was noted that whatever WWE has planned for Goldberg and Gunther down the line the company will not be furthering that storyline with an appearance from Goldberg at Crown Jewel.
WWE World Heavyweight Champion Gunther will be facing off against Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes this weekend as the two stars are set to compete for the Crown Jewel Championship at Crown Jewel.
