Last year at the Royal Rumble Edge shocked the world when he returned to the ring and entered the Royal Rumble match. This year Edge entered the Royal Rumble at number one, and he reunited with Christian who returned to the ring when he entered at number 24.
According to Dave Meltzer of F4Wonline.com, Christian was secretly medically cleared to return last week, and he’s expected to wrestle more moving forward.
“As far as how much is uncertain but that was not a one-time-and gone thing.”
Christian ended up making it to the final five in the 30 man Royal Rumble match, but he was eliminated by Seth Rollins.
