James Storm made his big return to TNA last night reunited with his Beer Money partner Bobby Roode. But Storm worked a few matches with NXT in 2015 and he had been hyping up the brand for months on social media. Naturally fans assumed he would sign a deal with the company. So what happened?
According to Ryan Satin of ProWrestlingSheet.com, Storm and WWE couldn’t come to terms on money. Storm was reportedly offered a deal with WWE worth less than $100k a year. TNA offered him 2 and 1/2 times more money for a two year deal with guaranteed money which is why he re-signed.
However the door is said to be open for a possible WWE return.
