Dolph Ziggler is a two time WWE World Heavyweight Champion, and he got a lot of people talking a few months ago when he appeared on Edge and Christian’s podcast and said that he would be making a big decision about his future soon.
In the end Dolph Ziggler decided to stay with WWE, and he recently wrestled in the main event when he made his return to SmackDown Live this week.
It looks like WWE made Ziggler a pretty solid offer that he couldn’t refuse, as Sports Illustrated reports that Dolph signed a deal that will see him stay with WWE for next two years, and he’ll be making $1.5 million each year.
The report also claims that contrary to speculation about his status, Dolph always planned to sign a new deal with the company.
One way or another, it looks like the price was right for Dolph Ziggler.
Dolph Ziggler defeated Sami Zayn in the main event on SmackDown Live, and Ziggler earned a spot in the WWE Championship match at Fastlane.
The main event will see AJ Styles defend against Dolph Ziggler, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, Baron Corbin in a Fatal 5 Way, with the winner going on to face Shinsuke Nakamura at WrestleMania.
