Saturday night was a huge night for Ring of Honor because The Broken Hardys debuted at Manhattan Mayhem and defeated The Young Bucks to win the ROH Tag Team Titles.
The Hardys weren’t the only ones to debut on Saturday as tag team legend Bubba Ray Dudley also made his presence felt.
It was recently reported that Bubba Ray had been talking with Impact Wrestling about a potential return, but talks fell through. Due to his negotiations with Impact, some believed that his deal with ROH was thrown together at the last minute, but that’s not the case.
PWInsider reports that Ring of Honor and Bubba Ray Dudley had been having discussions for some time. Ring of Honor will also reportedly be Bubba Ray’s priority going forward, so don’t look for him to just make a few appearances and then disappear from the company.
On a related note, Bubba also announced on Twitter that today is the 10th anniversary of the Team 3D Academy and the school is currently running a special where students can purchase a full year of training for $999.
