The historic first ever women’s Royal Rumble match main evented the Royal Rumble pay-per-view on Sunday night, and it lived up to the hype.
The match featured big names from the past like Lita, Trish Stratus, Beth Phoenix and others, and after Asuka won it all, Ronda Rousey made her WWE debut.
But unfortunately two full time members of the WWE roster weren’t able to compete in the match, as Paige and Alicia Fox were both pulled from the Rumble.
Wrestling Inc is reporting that Alicia Fox suffered a broken tailbone, and it happened during rehearsals for the big match.
NXT star Kairi Sane ended up replacing Fox in the Rumble.
Unfortunately for Alicia Fox, she has also been pulled from Mixed Match Challenge, and Raw General Manager Kurt Angle announced that Goldust will be choosing a new partner.
Right now it looks like Alicia Fox will be out of action for the next few months.
Unfortunately the WWE main roster seems to be dealing with several injuries heading into WrestleMania season as Samoa Joe was pulled from the men’s Royal Rumble match, and Jason Jordan’s injury prevented him from taking any bumps in the Raw Tag Team Title match on Sunday.
