Details On Adam Cole’s Future And Bubba Ray Dudley In ROH

We have previously reported WWE wants Adam Cole in a big way. As of this writing he has yet to sign a new contract with Ring Of Honor. Considering the face that he’s the current ROH World Champion, that is kind of a big deal. It’s an even bigger deal considering the fact his current contract is set to expire at the end of April.

According to the most recent issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dalton Castle or Christopher Daniels are next in line to take the ROH World Title if Adam Cole doesn’t renew his contract. Therefore, one would likely assume Cole is dropping that ROH World Title to Daniels at the 15th Anniversary Show. It was also noted that ROH has television tapings on March 11th and April 8th in case they want to switch the titles there.

When Bubba Ray Dudley made his return to the ring as Bully Ray and came out to at a ROH show for the first time, it was a shocking moment. He grabbed the microphone and said he didn’t want to take up any space while saying he also didn’t want to be a veteran who told people what to do. He said he wasn’t going after any titles, he put the fans over for being passionate as he explained that was a driving force which led him there. He said he came to ROH because he wanted to. There was a funny moment when he asked ROH Chief Operations Officer, Joe Koff to come down to the ring, but he didn’t and it was awkward. Even though COO, Joe Koff didn’t come out Bully Ray still said he was officially with ROH.
