Quite a few people have either parted ways with WWE, or are trying to leave the company, and it looks like you can add Dean Malenko’s name to the list.
Dean Malenko had been working as an agent backstage, booking matches for the last eight years, but Sports Illustrated is reporting that he has quit WWE.
SI notes that Malenko’s greatest strengths were booking tag team, his knowledge of technical wrestling, and finding ways to highlight shorter talents.
At this point it’s not clear what Malenko’s next move will be, but it’s being said that AEW would be a natural landing spot for him.
