Dean Ambrose is the current Intercontinental Champion and he’s one of the top stars on SmackDown Live. Ambrose has had a lot of success since he made his WWE debut, and for the most part, with the exception of his run with The Shield, he’s done it all as a face.
Fans have always been behind Dean Ambrose, but that doesn’t change the fact that fans are also interested in seeing what he can do as a heel. Ambrose recently spoke to Sportskeeda and he teased that there’s a whole other chapter coming for his career in the future.
“I go out there and just try to be myself. Whatever mood I’m in is kind of the version of me you’re going to get that day. I go out and do me and what I feel like and I don’t really think too much about it. There’s a lot I still want to do in my career and there’s going to be a whole other chapter in the future.”
When Dean Ambrose first joined the WWE main roster, he was part of The Shield and the trio went on to become one of the most beloved groups in WWE history. Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins are currently on Raw and Dean Ambrose is currently on SmackDown, so it doesn’t seem like there’s much potential for a reunion anytime soon.
Although a Shield reunion seems unlikely at this point, Ambrose says that you can “never say never.”
“You never know. I don’t think anybody’s thinking about it right now. You have to give me a ‘why’ before I tell you if it’s a good idea. So I’ll just give you a ‘never say never.’ Who knows.”
Ambrose has been wrapped up in a feud with Baron Corbin as of late, and the two stars are expected to face off at WrestleMania 33 with the Intercontinental Title on the line. Who do you want to see walk away with the belt? Sound off in the comments below.
