This week on AEW Dynamite Taz made his way to the ring alongside Brian Cage, and Taz cut a promo explaining why Cage is the current FTW Champion. Unfortunately for Brian Cage and Taz, their segment was interrupted by Darby Allin.
However, as Allin was walking to the ring he was attacked from behind by Ricky Starks. Ricky hit Darby Allin from behind, and Darby’s head bounced off the top rope then snapped back.
Bryan Alvarez reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that Darby Allin suffered a concussion when he was hit in the head by Ricky Starks.
Brian Cage then powerbombed Darby Allin twice on the entrance ramp, and Cage and Starks continued to attack Allin until Jon Moxley made the save.
Jon Moxley and Darby Allin are currently set to team up to face Brian Cage and Ricky Starks next week on AEW Dynamite.
