Daniel Bryan Wants Johnny Gargano On SmackDown, Musical Performance Set For NXT TakeOver

Daniel Bryan was recently cleared to return to the ring, and even though he’s going to be an active wrestler once again, as of right now he’s still the current SmackDown Live General Manager.

Fans usually expect to see a few NXT stars get called up shortly after WrestleMania, and it looks like Bryan has his eyes on one Superstar in particular.

Tonight at NXT TakeOver: New Orleans, Johnny Gargano is set to battle his former partner Tommaso Ciampa in an unsanctioned match, and if Gargano loses he will be banished from NXT forever.

Earlier today Bryan was asked which NXT stars he would like on SmackDown Live, and he said that he hopes Johnny Gargano loses because he wants to steal him and bring him to the blue brand.

Speaking of NXT TakeOver: New Orleans, fans will be seeing more than just wrestling on the show tonight, as Triple H has confirmed that the event will feature a live performance from Cane Hill.
