WWE is reporting that Daniel Bryan’s neck surgery earlier today was a success and Bryan should be out of the hospital in 1 to 2 days.
WWE noted that a lingering nerve issue with Bryan’s neck caused them to have to perform a cervical foraminotomy in order to decompress the root of the nerve.
WWE mentioned that although there is no scheduled timetable for Bryan’s return the recovery process for this type of surgery is usually 1 to 2 months.
WWE is planning on making an announcement regarding the WWE World Heavyweight Championship this coming Monday on Raw.
