His contract with WWE is set to expire next year. After that, Bryan will be open to wrestle for other promotions if he can get medically cleared to compete for them. By that next year, it’ll have been three years since he’s had a match, but some interesting news has come to light.
It’s being reported by Pro Wrestling Unlimted that Bryan has been helping Brie Bella train for her own comeback. She’s been rumored to be training for a WWE return early next year, but Bryan has been training alongside her for his in-ring return once his WWE contract expires.
WWE officials have shut down Brie or Bryan posting anything on social media about the latter taking bumps and training inside the ring. However, he has been able to train with Brie and is developing a new low-impact style to protect his head and neck. It’s going to be some time before we know if Daniel Bryan will actually wrestle again, but it seems he’s preparing for it.
