Daniel Bryan recently appeared on Steve Austin’s podcast and talked about Monday Night Raw being three hours. Bryan mentioned how draining the show can be to individuals who are still trying to get over.
“I think the biggest difference to me is the acts that are just starting to get over, they have a much harder time in that third round,” Bryan said. “Around 10:15 p.m. or 10:20 p.m., when (the fans) have already seen John Cena, CM Punk, Triple H; going out there with a cold match, people are not quite into you yet, sometimes it is really, really hard for those guys. A lot of time by the third hour, the crowd is tired.”
Bryan also mentioned that he prefers being on the first two hours of the show unless he is involved in something special.
