Daniel Bryan Seems To Be Hinting That He Plans To Wrestle When His WWE Deal Expires

When Daniel Bryan was forced to retire from in-ring competition it was a heartbreaking moment. Bryan has been retired for over a year now and the fans miss him dearly.

It’s no big secret that Daniel Bryan went out of his way to get cleared for an in-ring return and he has publicly said that he’s been cleared by more than one reputable doctor. However, Daniel Bryan has not been cleared by WWE’s doctors, and he’s still under contract, therefore he is not able to wrestle at this point in time.

Bryan has also said in the past, before his retirement, that if WWE were to fire him, he would continue to wrestle wherever he could because wrestling is what he loves to do. At this point we’re all under the impression that Daniel Bryan will likely never wrestle again, but he indicated on this week’s episode of Talking Smack that he may still be considering a return to the ring.

The Miz made an appearance on this week’s episode of Talking Smack and he ripped John Cena apart. Bryan defended Cena to some degree, but eventually the conversation became a war of words between Bryan and The Miz.

After several minutes of listening to The Miz rip on John Cena, he told The Miz that he’s a “patsy” and a “WWE shill.”

The Miz followed up by saying he could do anything he wanted to if he wasn’t with WWE, such as become a full-time actor. Bryan mocked The Miz for only acting in movies that go straight to DVD and Maryse asked Bryan how many movies he’s been in.

The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion responded by saying he’s not in any movies because he doesn’t want to be an actor. Miz fired back by saying that Bryan wants to be a wrestler, but he can’t because of his injuries.

That’s when Bryan got fired up and said, “I can’t or they won’t let me? We’ll see in a year and a half, and see what happens.”

As previously stated, the general consensus at this point in time seems to be that Daniel Bryan’s in-ring career is over. However, when his WWE deal expires in 2018, any decisions regarding his in-ring career will be his to make.

Whether or not he will actually end up returning to the ring remains to be seen, but his comments on this week’s episode of Talking Smack seem to be a clear indication that he’s at least considering lacing up his boots once again.
