Tonight is a big night for the SmackDown brand because the WWE Superstar Shake-up is set to continue and SmackDown Live will be acquiring some stars from the Raw roster. SmackDown was pretty much cleaned out on Monday night, so the blue brand’s authority figures need to make some big moves to replenish their roster.

Renee Young caught up with Daniel Bryan at the TD Garden in Boston ahead of tonight’s episode of SmackDown, and the General Manager assured her that “star-power” is coming to Tuesday nights.
Bryan also revealed that there is one star who won’t be switching brands, and that star is none other than “The Big Hog” James Ellsworth. According to Daniel Bryan, Ellsworth must stay on SD Live, and he must be contained on the blue brand.
This week’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw featured the first night of the Superstar Shake-up and the show drew 3.429 million viewers according to ShowBuzzDaily.com. Viewership was down compared to the 3.767 million viewers who tuned in to last week’s post-WrestleMania Raw.
This week the first hour of Monday Night Raw drew 3.432 million people, followed by the second hour which drew 3.600 million people. The third and finaly hour drew 3.256 million viewers.
