Daniel Bryan Reportedly Pushing For More NXT Stars To Get Called Up

You never know when you could see a NXT superstar get called up to the main roster, and it sounds like we could be seeing some new faces on Raw or SmackDown in not too distant future.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter Daniel Bryan has been using his role with WWE creative to push for more NXT stars to get called up to the blue brand.

However, the counterpoint is that quite a few names have been brought up from NXT over the last few years that Vince McMahon has lost interest in, and there are plenty of talents who could be used that aren’t even on television.

It was also noted that some talents such as Andrade and Aleister Black have been abused, and it would be easier to get someone new over like Damian Priest.

Originally Damian Priest was set to get called up to the SmackDown brand last week, but those plans were nixed. However, Priest and Rhea Rhipley are both expected to be called up sooner than later.
