Daniel Bryan defended his WWE Championship against Kofi Kingston on the Grandest Stage of Them All on Sunday night, and when it was all said and done it was Kofi who walked out with the belt.
Kofi later celebrated his big title win on SmackDown Live, but Daniel Bryan didn’t appear on the show.
Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that word coming out of WrestleMania 35 on Sunday was that Daniel Bryan may have suffered an injury during the match.
Bryan was waiting to be examined this week, but that’s why he went home early and didn’t appear on SmackDown Live on Tuesday night.
Stay tuned for more updates on Daniel Bryan’s status as they become available.
